Welcome to Sri Velmurugan Group !!!

We are proud to introduce ourselves as one of the leading Super Market in Ambur Town with the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Ponmudi Kotteeshwara Ramanatha Swamigal, – Chennappa malai, Battur and our Forefathers.

Nevertheless, we are gifted to be the successors of (Late) Sri. C. Manicka Udayar and (Late) Smt. Kamatchi Ammal, who are the grandparents of us. They gave birth to Four sons namely M. Selvaraj, M. Nadesan, M. Nagalingam, M. Thiyagarajan and one precious daughter Mrs. M. Kalaivani. They  headed to a traditional life.  At the same time we never forgot (Late) Smt. Amma Kannammal, who sacrificed her life to our family.

We started our carrier of business from selling Pot in early 1940s.  We started “Nagalingam Tailoring Material Centre” at the centre of Ambur Town for the sale of Threads, Needles and other tailoring materials to the general public.  Undoubtedly, this is the root for our business growth and with God’s grace it still continues to serve the people of Ambur Town.

In 1996, we stepped into “Sri Velmurugan General Store” with full support and whole hearted cooperation of all section of people.

Later as the needs of the people in Ambur town increases, we innagurated a full fledged “Sri Velmurugan Super Market” in 2004 with the motive of “No compromise on Quality and Customer Satisfaction”.

We started “Sri Velmurugan Babys’ Land” in 2012 exclusively for Baby care and wide variety of Toys for Kids.

In 2013 “Sri Velmurugan Traders”, was started as whole sale business for the small traders of villages around the Ambur town, where they get the needed goods in wholesale price.

In 2014, we also opened another one branch in name of “Sri Velmurugan Vegetables & Fruits”.  We bring comprehensive range of fresh fruits which are highly demanded and appreciated due to its nutritional values.

Now in 2015, we reached the milestone in the name of “Sri Velmurugan Super Mart” which offers wide range of Stainless Steels, Home appliances, Furniture items etc.

By hardwork and sincere dedication of all our family members, we are standing before you as “Sri Velmurugan Group” with the motive of rendering our best services to you all.
